Classroom Curriculum

This curriculum contains information which a teacher or school nurse can use to discuss Lyme disease and other infections and its prevention with students. Following each information section are activities geared to grade levels K-2 and 3-5.

Material in this curriculum will help students understand:

  • You can get very sick from Lyme disease
  • Ticks carry the bacteria that will give you Lyme disease
  • There are ways YOU can prevent getting Lyme disease
